Nourishing our community starts here.

At Food Bank for Larimer County, we believe food is medicine. Every year, our Nutritious Kitchen produces over 300,000 meals for children, seniors, and families across northern Colorado and we're building the next generation of programs that connect nutrition to health outcomes in ways we have never done before.

In this newly created role we're looking for a Registered Dietitian who wants to do more than clinical work. Someone who is equally at ease in the office reviewing a CACFP menu, leading a nutrition class in the community, and rolling up their sleeves in a commercial kitchen. If you're motivated by mission, energized by variety, and ready to help shape what a food bank can be, this role was built for you.

Where you'll make an impact:

Lead daily operations of the FBLC Nutritious Kitchen managing staff, volunteers, food safety, compliance, and production across SFSP, CACFP, VOA Senior Nutrition, and Catering programs.

Own all menu development for senior and youth meal programs using Food Processor® software, serving as the primary RD credential holder for SFSP , CACFP children's menu approval.

Lead Nutrition Matters classes for clients across Larimer County from lesson planning and food procurement to community partnerships and program reporting.

Co-lead our Food is Medicine initiative with healthcare partners, including medically tailored nutrition interventions and grant-funded programs targeting diabetes, hypertension, and food insecurity.

Mentor dietetic interns, contribute to HER Guidelines implementation, and help shape what community nutrition looks like in Larimer County.

This role is for you if:

You hold an active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential and are passionate about community nutrition.

You've supervised others and are comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

You can move between a partner meeting and a kitchen shift without skipping a beat.

You bring cultural awareness to every interaction.

You want a role where your clinical expertise directly impacts 300,000 meals a year not just one patient at a time.

Are you ready to help us shape the next chapter of what a food bank can do and End Hunger Here?
