Community Manager - San Antonio, Texas

Pay Range: $60,008.00 to $82,992.00

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Manager to lead daily operations at a residential community in the San Antonio area. This role is ideal for someone who is a natural leader, enjoys building strong resident relationships, and thrives in a fast paced environment where they can take full ownership of a property’s performance. As the Community Manager, you will oversee financial operations, team leadership, resident satisfaction, and overall property success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the property’s annual budget
  • Oversee rent collection, delinquency management, and expense control
  • Prepare financial reports and ensure performance aligns with company goals
  • Lead, train, and mentor the onsite team
  • Oversee hiring, scheduling, performance management, and payroll
  • Drive leasing efforts to achieve and maintain high occupancy
  • Oversee marketing initiatives and manage the lease renewal process
  • Build strong resident relationships and support a positive living environment
  • Enforce community policies and support conflict resolution
  • Plan and support community events and resident engagement activities
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality and curb appeal
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and manage vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and property management regulations

Qualifications Required

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Property Manager, Community Manager, or similar leadership role
  • Proven experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and resident relations
  • Strong working knowledge of fair housing laws and property management regulations
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Preferred

  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or similar industry certification
  • Experience with property management software such as Yardi
