Temporary Community Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting on behalf of and supporting one of our clients in the search for a Temporary Community Manager. This position will oversee day-to-day community and property operations while supporting administrative, resident, compliance, and team management responsibilities.

Location: Daly City, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM | 40 hours/week

Employment Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: $28 /hr

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily administrative and operational activities for the property/community

  • Maintain resident files and ensure accurate recordkeeping and documentation

  • Process leases, renewals, recertifications, and related resident paperwork

  • Manage and track waitlists and resident data

  • Coordinate resident meetings and communications

  • Prepare and organize documentation for audits and compliance reviews

  • Support compliance-related processes and maintain required records

  • Assist residents by responding to questions and providing support as needed

  • Enter, update, and track information within property systems and databases

  • Support staff management and daily team operations under Property Management direction

  • Ensure organization and efficient workflow across the community office

Qualifications:

  • Previous Community Manager or Property Management experience preferred

  • Prior affordable housing experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with TCAC (Tax Credit Allocation Committee) processes preferred

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Experience with compliance documentation and file management is a plus

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
