HIRING RANGE:
$32.02-$35.58
/hour based on education and position related experience.
Longevity pay after 3 years.

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for promoting environmental health and educating the public by supporting disease prevention and providing awareness of activities/behaviors that adversely affect the environment and public health while
building relationships within the community in order to help develop capacity and access to environmental health resources, serving as a liaison between health and the community to facilitate access and improve health outcomes by increasing environmental health knowledge.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in biology, chemistry, environmental health, public health, physical science or related field
Must be a community health worker certified through a state approved agency or be willing to obtain a certification within 3 months of hire
Ability to write, edit, and produce creative content, including digital media (audio, video, podcasts); ability to compile, collate, analyze and evaluate data
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills strongly preferred
