Overview
Framed within the mission, vision, and community relations plan of Blank Children's Hospital, the Outreach Coordinator, Community Services is responsible for coordination, reporting and/or support of educational programs focused on pediatric health, safety and well-being. This person serves as a representative for Blank Children's Hospital in the community and region. The successful completion of responsibilities contributes towards the implementation of programs to improve the overall health and well-being of children.

Responsibilities
- Represent Blank Children's Hospital and the Advocacy and Outreach programs professionally in communities throughout the State.
- Reports any questions or concerns regarding compliance immediately to the attention of department or organization/hospital administrative staff.
- Utilizes a family-centered approach (considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, educational, safety, and related criteria) appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Shows responsible and accountable management of human, fiscal, and material resources.
- Accepts responsibility for maintaining and developing personal and professional skills and knowledge related to the work area assigned.
- Attends and participates in scheduled meetings and trainings.
- Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed customer expectations.
- Integrates and demonstrates CORE values and Expectations for Personal and Service Excellence to guide professional behaviors, while adhering to the policies and procedures of UPHDM.
