Behavioral Health Community Engagement Coordinator

The Clermont County Mental Health and Recovery Board is looking for a full-time Community Engagement Coordinator. This role focuses on helping more people in the community learn about and access mental health and substance use services.

The Coordinator will:

• Increase awareness and understanding of behavioral health resources.
• Encourage community involvement and reduce stigma around mental health.
• Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations and groups.
• Plan and organize community-based programs and initiatives.

In addition, this person will:

• Help develop strategies and coordinate community coalitions.
• Provide training and support to strengthen local organizations.
• Lead public awareness efforts and create new ways to engage the community.

This role acts as a connector, bringing together residents, schools, healthcare providers, public safety, parks and recreation, nonprofits, and businesses across Clermont County. The goal is to turn data, research, and community input into meaningful actions that improve behavioral health outcomes for everyone.

Candidates should possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field and have five years of practical experience. Knowledge of mental health and substance use, and the public behavioral health system is a plus, as is a Prevention Certification.
