Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides leadership within the department and acts as a resource for clinical and non-clinical staff on a continual basis. Remains critically attuned to the staff, physicians and referring facilities, giving their concerns and suggestions due consideration, prompt resolution or potential implementation with prompt feedback to the respective staff. Spends up to three to four days per week rounding on scheduled customers in defined markets/regions. Manages a routine/disciplined visit schedule documenting market changes and opportunities for growth. Identifies, builds relationships with, and appropriately targets corporate clients operating in defined markets/regions. Independently develops strong and meaningful relationships with key contacts such as civic leaders, business leaders, hospital partners, providers, provider groups, community employers and community groups. Participate in ongoing planning with the leadership of the department to identify targets for on-site marketing and strategy development. Establishes and maintains ongoing communications with leadership and staff, including routine or follow-up visits, emails and phone calls. Continually assess needs of these key groups and provides appropriate materials and ongoing communication as requested. Provides assistance to referring physicians, patients and corporate clients with questions, problems or complaints. Works with Operations Leader to keep informed on all local client profiles in order to promote prompt and effective service and reimbursement. Attends and participates in regular client meetings with the Operations Leader, Physicians and appropriate Clinical staff to maintain effective office function. In certain departments this individual may help the Operations Leader with the following: coordinate scheduling of personnel to ensure adequate coverage for on-site corporate clients and clinic locations. Monitors and reports to the Operations Manager on employee performance/productivity and assists with interviewing and selecting qualified candidates. Implements the initial and ongoing training/education and annual competencies of staff regarding client profiles and expectations. Demonstrates understanding of and expertise in the clinical capabilities for various roles in the area of Operations. Assists in the development, adheres to, and enforces Memorial Health operational procedures and personnel policies. Demonstrates respectable and confidential behavior and demands the same from all operations personnel. Follows safety practices in the performance of all job duties and demands the same of all operations personnel.
