The Community Based Contract Compliance Auditor will join a regional team to conduct on-site monitoring and reviews of community-based contracted providers in DCS regions 9, 10, and 11.
They will evaluate services and billing practices to ensure accuracy and compliance, providing education, recommendations, and correction plans for identified errors. The role includes comprehensive audits of provider practices from service delivery to billing, and pursuing financial recovery for the state when necessary.
The auditor will travel regularly within the regions, approximately twice a week, and participate in statewide meetings, including quarterly in-person sessions in Marion County. They will suggest process improvements, adhere to applicable laws and policies, and engage in ongoing training to maintain knowledge of responsibilities.
