We are now accepting candidates for a Communications Specialist position to work on the cabling team within Edge Network Operations Branch. We are looking for a person to work out of the Frankfort office M-F 8:00-4:00. There will be no telecommuting with this position. This will be a cabling position on our Infrastructure Cabling Team that will need to have experience in running/testing/troubleshooting/terminating/repairing CAT5, CAT6, CAT6A network cable. If they have Fiber experience that is welcomed and would be used but not a requirement. Since we support all 120 counties the candidates will need to have a valid driver's license and be available for travel each day with overnight stays a possibility when work calls for it. We will provide them with their own state van for equipment and material.
