Overview:
Seeking a Communications Operations Manager to help power a high-performing team of Communications Business Partners, ensuring the right work happens at the right time, seamlessly.
This is a hands-on, mid-level contract role for someone who thrives on bringing structure to complexity, enjoys enabling others to do their best work, and takes pride in operational excellence. You'll play a central role in keeping the team connected, organized, and running efficiently across a range of internal communications activities.

What You'll Do
Drive seamless team operations:
Manage the day-to-day coordination of a team of seven Communications Business Partners, ensuring priorities, timelines, and deliverables stay on track.
Lead event and engagement logistics:
Plan and execute logistics for internal engagement activities such as town halls, leader office hours, coffee chats, and functional events, partnering closely with administrative professionals and events teams as needed.
Own calendar and coordination rhythms:
Maintain and optimize team calendars, aligning key milestones, leadership engagements, and communications moments. Anticipate conflicts and proactively solve for them.
Manage team channels and mailboxes:
Oversee shared mailboxes and communication channels, triaging requests and ensuring timely, thoughtful responses or escalation.
Build and scale ways of working:
Create, organize, and continuously improve SOPs, templates, and documentation that enable consistency and efficiency across the team. Establish and maintain clear norms for team knowledge management, including structuring and managing shared drives and ensuring information is easy to find, use, and keep up to date.
Strengthen cross-functional coordination:
Partner closely with communications colleagues and stakeholders across the organization - including administrative professionals, events management, and other operational teams - to deliver a seamless experience.
Identify and implement improvements:
Spot opportunities to simplify processes, reduce friction, and enhance how the team operates.

Qualifications 
5 - 8 years of experience in corporate operations or communications is required.
Pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly preferred.
Prior experience managing corporate communications programs is required.
Graphic design skills a plus
Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Gmail) and comfortable navigating a range of collaboration and productivity tools (eg. Monday.com)
