The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Communications Manager for a prominent client of ours. This position is in Lake County, IL. Details of the position are as follows:
Responsibilities:
• Draft, edit, and finalize external communications to suppliers on behalf of Project Genesis Wave 7-16. (6 supplier communications x 10 waves = 60 total)
• Ensure all communications are written in a professional tone, are factually accurate, action oriented and reflect Client values and Code of Conduct expectations.
• Email should include what is changing, actions, system and process changes, operational guidance, and specific actions suppliers need to take with Coupa Supplier Portal.
• Coordinate review and approval with Legal, Compliance, Procurement leadership, and other stakeholders as required before external release.
• Coordinate the sending of supplier communications based by Wave aligned to the Change Management Wave calendar.
• Adapt messaging for different Waves, supplier audiences or regions as needed, while ensuring consistency in core content and approval standards.
• Coordinate distribution through approved external Procurement mailbox and ensure communications are sent only to intended external audiences.
• Monitor Procurement Mailbox and supplier responses or escalation needs arising from communications and route issues to the appropriate Procurement or business contacts.
• Support post-send analysis, where applicable, including tracking distribution status, acknowledgements, responses, and follow-up actions.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Integrated Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent
•6+ years of relevant experience and proven track record of success in managing internal employee or change management communications
•Experience in the healthcare/bio-pharma industry a plus
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with knowledge of emerging communication trends and technologies; social media and executive writing experience a plus
•Strong business acumen with the ability to anticipate company and team needs
•Experience working with senior management and executive presence
•Strong project management skills and ability to multitask
