What You'll Lead
You'll be the strategic driver behind Wake County's Communicable Disease Program, providing leadership across core public health services, including:
What You'll Do
Set program goals and move teams toward them with clarity, motivation, and accountability.
Develop innovative strategies to strengthen infectious disease surveillance, prevention, and intervention efforts.
Analyze epidemiological data to shape actionable insights and program improvements.
Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Manage budgets, grants, contracts, and program performance metrics.
Partner with healthcare providers, schools, long‑term care facilities, and cross‑agency leaders.
Lead and support multidisciplinary teams, including:
Communicable Disease Surveillance Team
Tuberculosis & Refugee Health Clinic
