This role will ensure Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) are accurately routed to the appropriate Strategic Sourcing Managers, improve assignment logic and workflows, analyze operational performance, and support PLM system enhancements, including Agile to Teamcenter migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLM systems, engineering change processes, supply chain operations, and process improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and affected items to route work to the appropriate Global Commodity Managers (GCMs).
  • Provide early visibility into supply chain impacts, including cost, lead time, supplier, and GoG implications.
  • Analyze current assignment algorithms and develop enhanced routing rules based on programs, suppliers, and commodity categories.
  • Create structured datasets documenting assignment decisions to support future AI-based auto-assignment solutions.
  • Monitor and report Strategic Sourcing team performance, including ECO processing time, data quality, and SLA compliance.
  • Support Product Development Process (PDP) integration by ensuring supply chain engagement throughout the engineering lifecycle.
  • Develop training materials, SOPs, and documentation for PLM workflows and supply chain processes.
  • Support testing activities for Agile PLM to Teamcenter migration projects.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, and Product Development teams to improve PLM workflows and operational efficiency.

Must-Have Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations, PLM administration, or systems-focused roles within manufacturing or engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with PLM systems such as Agile PLM, Teamcenter, Windchill, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Engineering Change Management processes (ECO, DECO, MCO).
  • Experience with workflow management, user administration, and change order routing.
  • Strong data analysis and process improvement experience with KPI tracking and reporting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar.
  • Experience creating training documentation, SOPs, and technical process documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify workflow patterns and implement systematic improvements.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with Agile PLM workflow configuration and assignment group management.
  • Experience supporting Agile PLM to Teamcenter migration projects.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts related to workflow automation, routing, and classification.
  • Knowledge of BOM structures and product lifecycle stages (Prototype, Planning, Pilot, Production).
  • Experience integrating PLM systems with ERP and demand planning platforms.
  • Experience using workflow analytics or process mining tools to identify bottlenecks and optimize business processes.
