Work Schedule

This is a traveling role, requiring 10 days on-site followed by 4 days at home. Site locations can be anywhere in the U.S., with an initial project in Reno, Nevada.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. This role involves collaborating closely with the Lead Project Scheduler, Site Management, and Project Management teams to ensure the successful planning and execution of project schedules. The position is remote but requires travel to project sites across the United States as necessary. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Lead Project Scheduler in developing and maintaining the project schedule.
  • Collaborate with the project team and trade partners to plan and sequence work relative to the project schedule.
  • Evaluate construction sequencing and assist in planning efficient workflows.
  • Identify and mitigate scheduling conflicts and compression.
  • Review project schedules from a safety perspective and incorporate mitigation points where applicable.
  • Review two-to-three-week lookahead schedules for accuracy and construction sequencing.
  • Evaluate and communicate construction critical paths to the project team, trade partners, and the customer.
  • Assess the impact of customer decisions, design delays, and trade partner progress on the project schedule.
  • Prepare time impact analyses (TIAs) as required.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to learn and develop new skills to enhance project schedule performance.

Qualifications

Who We Want

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year of construction experience.
  • Basic understanding of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopes of work.
  • Familiarity with the design process relative to the project schedule.
  • Understanding of project administration, including submittal processes, document control requirements, and change management.
  • Ability to utilize scheduling software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of scheduling principles such as schedule logic, predecessors, successors, and float.
  • Ability to assist in project schedule development and progress updating.
  • Capability to prepare schedule update narratives and reports.
  • Assist in developing construction sequencing to aid the project team in planning efficient workflows.
