Commercial Service Dispatcher
Location: Orlando, 32810 – This position is onsite
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Type: Contract to hire
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Job description:
- Plan, organize, and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly service and maintenance schedules; assign and dispatch work orders to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and service technicians, responding to service requests via phone, email, and internal teams while coordinating expectations.
- Match technician skill sets, geographic coverage, and availability to service needs using real-time dispatch boards and GPS tracking systems.
- Track technician status and job progress, process completed work orders, and follow up on incomplete or pending parts-related work.
- Coordinate parts and materials ordering, ensure readiness prior to dispatch, enter service documentation, handle overflow service calls, and perform other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Must have previous dispatch customer service
- Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Must have the ability provide exceptional service and also be stern as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background check required
- Drug screening required
