Sonitrol (a Pye-Barker Fire & Safety company) is seeking a Commercial Security Consultant who specializes in growing a new client base within the commercial intrusion, access control, video surveillance & fire alarm verticals. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal skills, an aptitude for technology and the ability to develop industry-related partnerships within an assigned territory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Drive growth by building new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones within an assigned territory. • Communicate with new prospective clients to identify and understand their business and security needs; identify and suggest solutions based on those needs. • Design and present integrated security solutions to prospective and existing client base. • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Sonitrol core product solutions while staying abreast of current market trends. • Develop relationships with relevant industry partners. • Identify new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities. • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers. • Utilize CRM for sales activity and backlog reporting.
Education / Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or relevant field A minimum 2 years of outside sales experience required Excellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skills Excellent sales & negotiation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to travel
