Commercial Sales Representative – Painting & Facility Services


About the Role


CertaPro Painters is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to help grow our commercial painting division throughout Chicagoland.
This role is ideal for a driven, relationship-focused professional who thrives on building new business, closing deals, and delivering results. You’ll work directly with property managers, building owners, schools, HOAs, and general contractors to estimate, sell, and manage painting projects that make a visible impact in the community.

What You’ll Do


  • Identify and develop new commercial painting opportunities across Chicagoland.

  • Conduct site visits, prepare accurate estimates, and present proposals.

  • Negotiate and close profitable projects.

  • Build and maintain relationships with property managers, facility directors, and general contractors.

  • Represent CertaPro Painters at networking events and trade organizations.

  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure a seamless customer experience and repeat business.

  • Manage your pipeline through our CRM (Microsoft Dynamics).

What You’ll Bring


  • 3–7 years of outside sales, account management, or estimating experience (construction, coatings, or facility services preferred).

  • A track record of generating and closing leads.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and tech-savvy.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.

Compensation & Benefits


  • $80,000–$120,000 total earnings (base + commission)

  • High performers earn $135,000+ annually

  • Guaranteed base pay + performance-based commission
