Commercial Sales Consultant – Logistics & Workplace Solutions

They are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Commercial Sales Consultant to help expand their commercial and logistics footprint through new business development, strategic partnerships, and client-focused solution selling.

Position Summary

The Commercial Sales Consultant is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and selling customized commercial moving and logistics solutions. This role focuses on identifying and developing new revenue opportunities within office & industrial (O&I), logistics, FF&E/OS&E, warehousing, transportation, installation, and workplace services.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter and hunter-minded sales professional who thrives on building relationships, networking, and creating tailored solutions for clients. This individual will collaborate closely with operations and leadership teams to ensure successful project execution and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, industry events, and social media outreach
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, property managers, healthcare organizations, hospitality groups, educational institutions, and other commercial accounts
  • Identify customer needs and provide customized commercial moving and logistics solutions
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and client consultations
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, presentations, and sales contracts
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales and revenue goals
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and reporting within CRM systems
  • Represent the company professionally within the community and industry associations

Commercial & Logistics Solutions

Sales may include:

  • Commercial moving and relocation services
  • Office & Industrial (O&I) projects
  • FF&E / OS&E logistics and installation
  • Warehousing and distribution
  • Final mile and white glove delivery services
  • Asset management and storage solutions
  • Workplace transitions and decommissioning services
  • Transportation and logistics support

Project Coordination & Client Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact throughout the sales and project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with operations, warehouse, transportation, and installation teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Proactively address customer concerns, service issues, or project changes
  • Support profitable project planning and pricing strategies with leadership teams

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial sales, logistics, moving & storage, workplace services, or related industries preferred
  • Proven success in business development and relationship-driven sales
  • Experience selling commercial relocation, warehousing, logistics, transportation, FF&E/OS&E, or installation solutions is highly preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience
