Your coverage area
- Charlotte, NC metro as home base
- Occasional trips to Greensboro and nearby markets
- Local travel to assigned customer sites
What you’ll do
- Run commercial service calls across retail and facility-managed locations
- Troubleshoot and repair RTUs, packaged systems, and commercial split systems
- Service rooftop equipment up to approximately 25 tons
- Maintain and repair water-source heat pumps and chilled-water fan coils
- Pitch in on boiler-related tasks and continue learning boiler applications
- Perform PMs, demand service, and limited install support in the field
- Use our field software to coordinate with dispatch, ops, and management
- Produce timely, accurate, and detailed job notes for every ticket
- Keep a clean, well-organized service vehicle and work area
- Represent Landmark professionally at every customer interaction
- Rotate through on-call duty and respond to time-sensitive issues as scheduled

What we’re looking for
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in HVAC with meaningful commercial service background
- Proven work on packaged units, RTUs, and commercial split systems
- Experience servicing equipment up to 25 tons
- Comfort with water-source heat pumps and chilled-water fan coils
- EPA certification
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong verbal skills and top-notch written documentation
- Self-directed with excellent time management
Preferred qualifications
- Boiler experience
- Installation background
- Some exposure to light residential work
- Journeyman license
- Experience with advanced or less common systems (e.g., VAV-type or dehumidification)
- Comfort using mobile dispatch/service applications
