Job Description

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, acting as the primary relationship owner
  • Build relationships with business owners, CEOs, and CFOs
  • Analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness of borrowers
  • Structure, negotiate, and manage commercial loans and credit facilities
  • Partner with credit teams for underwriting and loan approvals
  • Monitor portfolio performance including risk, renewals, and compliance
  • Identify and mitigate credit and portfolio risks
  • Drive new business through networking, referrals, and market outreach
  • Cross-sell banking solutions including treasury, wealth, and private banking services
  • Collaborate internally with credit, operations, and product teams
  • Ensure loan documentation accuracy and compliance

Experience You Will Need:

  • 2–10+ years of experience in commercial banking, lending, or relationship management roles
  • Proven experience in managing and growing commercial client portfolios
  • Strong experience in financial statement analysis, credit underwriting, and risk assessment
  • Demonstrated ability in structuring and negotiating commercial loans and credit facilities
  • Track record in business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs, business owners)
  • Experience ensuring loan documentation accuracy, compliance, and regulatory adherence
  • Strong collaboration experience with credit teams, underwriting, and internal stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
