About the Role
TempExperts is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate / Finance Paralegal to support a busy Tampa-based law team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in managing complex commercial transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and multi-site developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial real estate and finance transactions from inception to closing
- Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, exception documents, inspections, and due diligence materials
- Prepare closing checklists, conveyance documents, closing statements, transfer tax forms, and escrow releases
- Coordinate closings and handle post-closing deliverables, including closing binders and indices
- Draft, review, and file real estate and finance documents, including deeds, mortgages, memoranda of leases, and UCC financing statements
- Abstract leases and loan documents; summarize UCC, judgment, tax, and other lien searches
- Maintain organization and accuracy across multiple transactions and deadlines
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate and/or finance paralegal experience in a law firm
- Strong understanding of title and survey review, commercial closings, and real estate finance processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with iManage and Aderant preferred
- Florida Registered Paralegal preferred; Bachelors degree a plus
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
