Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney with significant condominium developer representation experience.

This attorney will play a key role in advising developers, investors, lenders, and real estate companies on complex commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, financing transactions, and condominium development matters throughout Florida.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong transactional background, exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, and substantial experience advising condominium developers from project inception through completion.

Responsibilities
Represent condominium developers in all phases of residential, mixed-use, and commercial condominium projects.
Prepare and review condominium declarations, governing documents, prospectuses, amendments, and related disclosure materials.
Advise clients on Florida condominium law, regulatory compliance, and developer rights and obligations.
Structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions.
Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, development agreements, easements, joint venture agreements, and leasing documents.
Coordinate and oversee due diligence, title review, survey analysis, zoning matters, and land use considerations.
Counsel developers regarding construction, turnover, governance, and association-related issues.
Work directly with lenders, investors, title companies, consultants, and governmental entities to facilitate successful project execution.
Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted business advisor.
Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's real estate, corporate, tax, and litigation practices.


Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active membership in The Florida Bar.
3+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
Significant experience representing condominium developers.
Thorough knowledge of Florida condominium and real estate laws.
Experience handling large-scale acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, and financing transactions.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions from inception through closing.
Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
Portable business is welcomed but not required.
Mixed-use, multifamily, hospitality, and condominium development projects.
Real estate finance and lender representation.
Joint ventures and complex development structuring.
Land use, zoning, and entitlement matters.
Opportunity Zone, affordable housing, or large-scale urban redevelopment projects.
