A leading international law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing developers, investors, private equity sponsors, lenders, and other institutional clients in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
• 3–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience
• Experience handling a broad range of sophisticated real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, secured financings, joint ventures, and development matters
• Experience with real estate joint ventures, fund formations, infrastructure transactions, and privatizations is preferred
• Experience representing developers, investors, lenders, private equity sponsors, REITs, or institutional clients
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, loan documents, and related transaction documentation
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work directly with clients and assume significant responsibility
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
