Three Oaks Hospitality is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Property Management Accountant to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of mixed-use commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property management accounting, lease administration, and financial reporting. We are looking to hire for this position immediately.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting functions related to a portfolio of mixed-use commercial properties.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and variance reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and process journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
  • Perform CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and ensure tenant billings are accurate and timely.
  • Maintain tenant ledgers, process rent collections and apply payments.
  • Review lease agreements to ensure correct accounting treatment and billing.
  • Support audits, lender reporting, and tax filings as needed.
  • Utilize Yardi property management/accounting software.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and property-specific financial practices (e.g., CAM, lease accounting).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience in commercial real estate or property management.
  • Must have experience using Yardi property management/accounting software
