Description

The Construction Project Manager will:

  • Provide overall leadership and direction to project teams from preconstruction through closeout
  • Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Understand, negotiate, and administer contracts and subcontract agreements
  • Establish, communicate, and implement project schedules and milestones
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Analyze project reports to ensure adherence to budget and schedule objectives
  • Lead project meetings and coordinate all project stakeholders
  • Manage procurement activities and subcontractor buyouts
  • Oversee the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Provide leadership during contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and change order management
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to client expectations

Profile

The successful Construction Project Manager will have the following:

  • 6+ years of Commercial Construction Project Management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred
  • Experience managing ground-up and renovation commercial projects
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within budget
