Our Commercial Division builds highly customized mobile business solutions, and we are seeking a skilled, mechanically inclined Assembly Technician to join our production team.


Position Overview


The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling Ferla’s commercial products including coffee bikes, vending carts/bikes, and promotional units. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with tools, hardware, and components to produce high-quality finished products.


This is a hands-on production role focused exclusively on product assembly — not facility maintenance.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assemble commercial bikes, vending carts, and custom mobile units

  • Install mechanical and structural components

  • Install accessories, fixtures, panels, and hardware

  • Perform final product adjustments and quality checks

  • Work with hand tools and power tools safely

  • Follow assembly instructions and production standards

  • Ensure products meet Ferla quality expectations

  • Assist with packaging and preparation for shipping

  • Maintain clean and organized workspace

  • Communicate with management regarding build progress

  • Support custom builds and special projects when needed

Qualifications


  • Experience with mechanical assembly, handyman work, or similar hands-on role

  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to follow instructions and build processes

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs

  • Positive attitude and team mindset

Preferred (Not Required)


  • Bike assembly experience

  • Automotive, fabrication, or mechanical background

  • Construction or carpentry experience

  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments

  • Electrical wiring basics (low voltage)
