One of Southern California’s largest and fastest-growing commercial plumbing contractors is seeking a Commercial Plumbing Estimator in Covina, CA to support high-volume tenant improvement work throughout the greater Los Angeles area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company with 30+ years of success, a dominant presence in the commercial plumbing market, and continued growth across fast-paced commercial construction projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Plumbing Estimator position include:
• 5+ years of estimating experience preferred, with commercial plumbing experience strongly preferred.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, proposals, and related project documents.
• Quantify project components and prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Maintain take-off spreadsheets, material descriptions, quantities, project summaries, and estimate backup documentation.
• Identify constructability issues during the estimating process.
• Solicit subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Work independently and within a team while prioritizing deadlines and maintaining quality.
• Must have Trimble or Quick Pen experience, with Excel, Word, and Bluebeam experience a plus.
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
