Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Commercial Plumbers to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing new or remodeling plumbing systems in a construction setting, all while ensuring all work meets safety/code standards and project specifications. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality plumbing solutions that support the functionality and safety of our jobsites all while maintaining timelines and work efficiencies. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain complex plumbing systems in construction settings, including piping, fixtures, and drains
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations and repairs
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and other project specific equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site work while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with project managers, site superintendents, and other trade partners to ensure seamless project execution
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed in compliance with safety standards
Qualifications
- Journeyman Plumbing License in Michigan (recommended but not required)
- 2+ years of experience in construction plumbing
- Proven experience in construction plumbing within commercial environments with a strong understanding of construction site procedures and flow
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and perform basic math calculations accurately
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- Strong physical stamina capable of heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces
