Are you a seasoned plumber with a knack for solving complex plumbing problems in commercial settings? If so, we are looking for a Consulting Commercial Plumber to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on a variety of projects. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, installing and repairing plumbing systems, and ensuring all work meets the highest standards of safety and quality. This position requires a deep understanding of plumbing systems and a commitment to staying updated on the latest industry trends and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints and architectural diagrams to understand the plumbing needs of each project.
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings.
  • Work with a variety of materials such as copper, cast iron, and PVC to install pipes and fixtures.
  • Perform rough-in and trim tasks as needed.
  • Ensure all plumbing work meets or exceeds local building codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with construction teams and other tradespeople to ensure plumbing systems are properly integrated into overall building design.
  • Provide guidance and advice on plumbing matters to clients and team members.
  • Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues that need repair or replacement.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a commercial plumber in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and architectural diagrams.
  • Extensive experience working with a variety of materials including copper, cast iron, and PVC.
  • Proven experience in pipe and fixture installation.
  • Familiarity with all stages of plumbing in new construction, from rough-in to trim.
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations pertaining to plumbing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must hold a valid plumbing license.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
  • Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.
