A Brief Overview

The Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist II services the Bank's loan portfolio and follows established lending policies and procedures. This role involves mastering loan input and routine loan maintenance. The Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist II is a multi-functional, customer-oriented role that relies on instructions and pre-established procedures to perform the functions of this job. This role expands to a higher level of knowledge, increased production, and accuracy levels.

What you will do

  • Input data entry of new loans bookings, loan disbursing, loan file maintenance, and servicing of all loan types on the Bank's core system, with a concentration on commercial loans.
  • Process daily functions of all loan records including loan payments, construction draws, advances, participation payments, and payoff requests.
  • Answer incoming customer calls and provide assistance for any customer questions about documents or loan data.
  • Review loan data input for accuracy and completeness as well as complete credit bureau corrections.
  • Reconcile loan accounts and general ledger accounts in a timely manner.
  • Analyze adjustable-rate mortgages for payment adjustments and interest rate changes.
  • Prepare and assemble data for distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Process fundings from Investor for Secondary Market loans.
  • Monitor Loan Maintenance, Loan Wires, and Loan Input email accounts.

Other Qualifications/Requirements

  • Assist with custodial reconciliations for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Federal Home Loan Bank.
  • Associate’s Degree and minimum 3 years retail banking, loan servicing preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
