Core Responsibilities
Develop and manage a pipeline of commercial loan prospects through proactive business development, referral networks, and community outreach activities
Conduct thorough financial analysis of business loan applications, including reviewing financial statements, tax returns, cash flow projections, and credit histories
Structure, underwrite, and present commercial loan packages tailored to meet individual client needs while adhering to established credit policies and risk guidelines
Maintain and grow relationships with existing commercial clients by providing ongoing financial guidance, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction
Collaborate closely with underwriters, credit analysts, and loan processors to ensure timely and accurate loan closings
Stay current on lending regulations, compliance requirements, and market trends affecting commercial lending in Colorado and nationally
Represent the organization at community events, business associations, and networking functions to generate new business opportunities
Prepare and present detailed loan recommendation reports to credit committees and senior leadership
Must-Have Requirements
Minimum of three years of direct experience in commercial lending, business banking, or a closely related financial services role
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial documents and assess creditworthiness of commercial borrowers
Solid understanding of commercial real estate loans, business term loans, lines of credit, and SBA lending products
Strong knowledge of applicable lending regulations including relevant federal and state compliance standards
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the proven ability to build and sustain trusted client relationships
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is preferred
