Commercial Litigation Attorney

An established firm based in Houston with over 30 years in practice is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This attorney will have experience with commercial litigation, including non-compete enforcement, business disputes, and theft of trade secrets, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters.

Salary range: $145,000-$185,000, contingent on experience. Medical, dental, and vision insurance. Paid time off. 401(k) plan. Continuing legal education support. Standard law firm benefits package.

Candidate must be licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar. Candidate must have at least three years of experience in commercial litigation. Candidate must have experience handling matters involving non-compete agreements, business disputes, and trade secret misappropriation. Candidate must have strong research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills. Candidate must be able to manage cases with minimal supervision and interact professionally with clients. Candidate must possess strong analytical and communication abilities.

Attorney will independently manage commercial litigation matters from intake through resolution. Attorney will handle cases involving non-compete agreements, breach of contract, business disputes, and theft of trade secrets. Attorney will draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery. Attorney will conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations as required. Attorney will advise clients regarding litigation strategy and risk assessment. Attorney will collaborate with partners and colleagues to ensure high-quality representation. Attorney will maintain accurate case files and meet all deadlines. For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States. We do not sponsor for this position.
