Nelson Mullins is looking to add a Commercial Litigation Associate to its South Florida Commercial Litigation group in the Fort Lauderdale office. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a dynamic office.

Utilizing your experience in litigation and insurance defense litigation, you will join a tenured team that litigates complex business cases and represents various corporate entities. You are a junior- to mid-level associate withmeaningful commercial litigation experience, and you feel confident in your experience taking depositions, drafting and arguing motions, conducting legal research, and managing discovery. You will be working on a team handling complex, high-stakes commercial litigation disputes, so you possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team while also managing multiple matters simultaneously and taking ownership of cases. You pride yourself on your strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of litigation experience; gained at a law firm
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Experience practicing in federal and state court

• Admitted, and in good standing, to the Florida Bar
