Taylor Agency is a locally owned and operated Independent Insurance Agency seeking an experienced sales professional to join our Commercial Lines team. We are looking for a motivated and sales oriented individual interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and an outstanding customer experience. Producers are responsible for prospecting new clients, entering in applications, presenting and issuing new business. They are also responsible for working with their account manager to renew their existing book of business. We have a marketing team that assists with quoting new and renewal business, so producers can focus on selling and helping their clients as needed. The right candidate will have experience in sales, as well as, experience in the insurance field and hold a SC Property and Casualty insurance license.

Responsibilities


  • Prospect for new clients
  • Gather all information needed to quote and enter applications
  • Return all phone messages promptly.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Generating insurance quotes
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
  • Provide on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
  • Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs



Requirements
  • Outside Sales experience
  • Independent and able to manage your own schedule/day
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Must have Property & Casualty license
  • Experience with AMS360 a plus
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Great Customer Service Skills.
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Responds to all inquiries and sales requests promptly
  • Minimum education: Associates degree
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
