Schneider Insurance is seeking a proactive and service-driven Commercial Lines Account Manager to support our growing portfolio of business clients. This role is responsible for managing commercial accounts from onboarding through renewal, ensuring comprehensive and competitive coverage while delivering exceptional customer service. Youll serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and decision-makers, helping them navigate risks and secure the protection they need to thrive.

Salary Range: $45000.00 - $75000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Producers to manage a book of commercial lines accounts, including renewals, endorsements, audits, certificates of insurance, and policy reviews.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to service needs promptly and professionally.
  • Analyze current policies and exposures to recommend appropriate coverage improvements or changes.
  • Coordinate with carriers and underwriters to obtain competitive quotes and negotiate renewals.
  • Identify and communicate coverage gaps, additional options, or opportunities for cost savings with the help of your producer.
  • Process policy changes, billing inquiries, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain accurate records in the agency management system and ensure compliance with workflows and procedures.
  • Partner with producers and other team members to support cross-selling and client retention efforts.

Requirements
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial lines account management (required)
  • Working knowledge of commercial insurance products including General Liability, Property, Commercial Auto, Workers Comp, Umbrella, and Professional Liability
  • Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic) and Microsoft Office Suite. We use Applied Epic and Indio.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Customer-centric mindset with a collaborative team approach
