Commercial Lines Assistant

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, service-minded Commercial Lines Assistant to join us at our Coopersburg, PA office, where you’ll help support our insurance team, serve customers with care, and contribute to the strong relationships that define who we are. Qualifications: Current Pennsylvania Property and Casualty Insurance Producer license required; candidates who are not currently licensed must obtain licensure within 90 days of hire.

Please note that this position will become hybrid after the initial training period of up to 6 months.  

Responsibilities:

Utilize agency management system and carrier websites to process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations

           

Issue auto id cards, certificates of insurance and evidence of property forms as requested

           

Working knowledge of Word and Excel

 

Maintain electronic file storage

 

Follow established agency policies and standard operating procedures

 

Assist account managers and producers with day-to-day service of commercial customers and prospects

 

Perform administrative support functions as directed

 

Maintain and nurture good customer and company relations with both internal and external customers

 

Responsible for compliance with the laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct

 

Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

Wage Range:

The salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $55,000
