Commercial Lines Account Manager - Insurance - Base Salary to 70k/year - Doral, FL
  • Our client, a well-established independent insurance agency, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team in an in-office position in Doral, Florida. This is an opportunity to manage an established commercial insurance book of business while providing exceptional client service to commercial accounts ranging from small business to middle-market clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle a portion of a shared $8 million commercial lines book of business consisting primarily of commercial property and condominium association accounts.
  • Manage commercial accounts with premiums ranging from under $100, 000 to approximately $500, 000.
  • Service commercial insurance accounts throughout the policy lifecycle, including renewals, remarketing, endorsements, certificates of insurance, billing inquiries, policy changes, and payment processing.
  • Manage new business opportunities generated through inbound inquiries and internal referrals.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional insurance products to existing clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal team members while providing responsive customer service.
  • Review policy coverage, assist with account servicing, and ensure accurate documentation and policy administration.
  • Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9: 00 AM to 5: 00 PM in Doral, Florida.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience.
  • Experience servicing commercial property insurance accounts.
  • Active Florida 2-20 or 4-40 insurance license.
  • Experience managing renewals, remarketing, endorsements, certificates of insurance, billing, policy servicing, and new business activities.
  • Experience servicing small business and middle-market commercial accounts.
  • Ability to work onsite in Doral, Florida.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organization, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with commercial insurance carriers and agency management systems.

Compensation:
  • Base salary in the 50k - 70k/year range, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus program.
