Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and risks.
Coordinate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms for renewals and new business.
Prepare and present insurance proposals and policy recommendations to clients.
Process policy endorsements, cancellations, and other administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
Stay current on industry trends, market changes, and new insurance products.
Current New York State Property & Casualty Broker License required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing commercial lines accounts.
Proficiency in agency management systems Ezlynx and Google Workspace. Proficient in ACORD forms.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverages.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
