Overview:
Facility Solutions Group is seeking a skilled Commercial Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll install, maintain, and repair electrical systems while mentoring apprentices and ensuring all work is completed safely and to code.
We’re looking for a dependable professional who takes pride in quality work, teamwork, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Plan and install electrical systems, wiring, and equipment based on blueprints and specifications
Lay out and complete installations in compliance with local codes and safety standards
Install and maintain panels, switchgear, feeders, lighting, and control systems
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues and equipment
Work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts as needed
Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and up to quality standards
Mentor and support Apprentice Electricians
Communicate with management regarding potential hazards or system concerns
Qualifications:
3–5 years of commercial electrical experience
Current Journeyman Electrician license (as required by state/local regulations)
Valid driver’s license
Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Positive, customer-focused attitude
