Description

  • Lead commercial interior projects from preconstruction planning through final completion
  • Manage budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor procurement, and contract administration
  • Collaborate with estimating and design teams during preconstruction to develop accurate scopes, schedules, and cost plans
  • Coordinate and manage union subcontractors and ensure compliance with labor agreements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control measures, and project documentation requirements
  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle

Profile

A successful Commercial Interior Project Manager should have:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on commercial interior construction projects
  • Strong preconstruction experience, including budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor buyout
  • Demonstrated experience working with union contractors
  • Solid understanding of construction documents, building codes, and interior systems
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office tools
