As a Commercial HVACR Field Service Specialist, you’ll travel to commercial, industrial, retail, and educational sites across the region—supporting Fortune 500 campuses and growing businesses alike—performing expert maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

What you’ll handle in the field

  • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across commercial systems: chillers, boilers, water source heat pumps, cooling towers, packaged rooftops, split systems, VAVs, pumps, and controls.
  • Use hand tools and interpret blueprints, wiring/piping diagrams, and engineering specs to pinpoint issues and restore performance.
  • Operate refrigerant recovery machines, vacuum pumps, charging equipment, and service gauges with precision and safety.
  • Troubleshoot down to the component level to resolve complex faults efficiently.
  • Inspect installations to confirm alignment with plans and specifications.
  • Run and maintain HVAC equipment to ensure safe, reliable facility operation.
  • Uphold quality, performance, and productivity standards on every call.
  • Complete accurate service documentation and job reports.
  • Adapt to varying schedules and shift assignments to support customer needs.
  • Apply knowledge of VAV/VVT systems (preferred).

What you bring

  • 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
  • High school diploma or GED; technical school education preferred.
  • EPA certification (required).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving habits.
  • OSHA certification is a plus (not required).
  • Physical capability to climb, lift/carry 50+ lbs, bend, reach, kneel, crawl, push/pull, and work at heights and in confined spaces.
