5 Star Charleston is hiring a Commercial HVAC Service Technician (VRV/VRF Specialist) who is ready to work on high-end systems, solve complex problems, and deliver exceptional service to commercial clients.

What You'll Earn

• $35.00 - $50.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Some weeknights and weekends for on-call rotation)

What You'll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair VRV/VRF systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC issues quickly and accurately
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on DX equipment, pumps, cooling towers, boilers, and refrigeration systems
• Diagnose problems, recommend solutions, and make repair vs. replace decisions
• Read wiring diagrams, perform air balancing, and ensure systems run efficiently
• Communicate clearly with clients, general contractors, and your team
• Rotate on-call duties for emergency service calls

What You Need

• Strong experience with VRV Daikin or VRF systems
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Solid troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Type II or Universal EPA Certification
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
• Willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
