Job Description:
We are seeking an experience commercial HVAC Service Tech to join our client's team here in New Castle, DE.
* Performs all duties of a Journeyman level technician with an advanced skill level.
* Performs mechanical inspection and maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance now and until next scheduled visit in an effort to eliminate unplanned downtime.
* Leadership - Uses experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements and suggests additional services that are beneficial to customer.
* Feedback - Advises customer of work performed and corrective actions to be taken in an educational and professional manner.
* Feedback - Represents the company in a positive manner to vendors, other contractors, and customers.
* Leadership - Works in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Mentoring - Works with apprentices and less experienced staff in an effort to advance their careers by improving their knowledge and productivity.
* Training - Participates in company provided training programs including but not limited to Interplay, RSES, NATE, and other manufacturer specific training setting the standard of continuous learning and professional development.
* Feedback - Submits required paperwork completed in an exemplary manner to the Customer Service Coordinator in a timely manner. Strives to document all situations with photos and supplemental information, as necessary.
* Leadership - Must work in a safe manner daily and ensure that safety measures are always followed.
* Leadership - Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends on occasion, consistently available via phone for technical support.
* Training - Ability to interpret engineering drawings for layout, location, and operation of the system(s)
* Leadership - Ability to work independently including researching difficult technical situations to establish the most effective solution with minimal supervision while balancing requirements of multiple and varied duties.
* Feedback - Provides consultation and communication on the issues/initiatives/progress of the department towards its goals in a regular formal meeting with the management team.
Requirements:
* Essential Functions as listed for Journeyman Level technician.
* Must have advanced HVAC certification plus at least 10 years" experience working as a Service Technician in a commercial environment.
* Strong knowledge of Jonas eMobile software desired
* Working proficiency with hand-held devices (i.e., Smartphone, Android tablet)
* Operating knowledge of multiple manufacturer software systems (i.e., Honeywell, Samsung, Mitsubishi, LG, and
Carrier)
* Ability to write correspondence to peers, customers, and management.
* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and
other employees of the organization.S
