Job Title: Commercial HVAC Service Manager

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, TX | Full-Time

Pay: $100,000 - $150,000 annually based on experience

Lead commercial HVAC service operations across the Dallas-Fort Worth market for an established mechanical services organization offering long-term stability, strong operational support, and the opportunity to make a direct impact across service performance, customer relationships, and team development.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Manager to lead and grow a commercial service division focused on operational excellence, technical performance, customer satisfaction, and team development. This role is ideal for a proven leader who combines deep commercial HVAC knowledge with strong people leadership, business acumen, and strong mechanical aptitude.

This position will oversee service operations, field teams, scheduling coordination, performance management, customer relationships, financial results, and strategic growth initiatives throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. You will serve as a key operational leader responsible for driving accountability, developing technicians and supervisors, improving service delivery, and ensuring service work is executed safely, efficiently, and profitably.

The ideal candidate understands both the technical and business sides of commercial HVAC service and has demonstrated success leading teams in a fast-paced commercial environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the commercial HVAC service department while maintaining service quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability
  • Manage and develop service technicians, field leaders, dispatch, and support staff through coaching, accountability, and performance management
  • Oversee workforce planning, scheduling coordination, staffing, and resource allocation across multiple service territories
  • Monitor departmental KPIs including revenue, profitability, labor utilization, response times, callbacks, and customer retention
  • Support complex troubleshooting efforts and provide technical guidance for commercial HVAC systems and service operations
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for service growth and long-term partnerships
  • Partner with estimating, project management, and executive leadership to align business goals and execution
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and technician development
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, labor performance, and departmental financial results
  • Promote and maintain a strong culture centered on safety, accountability, communication, and high performance
