Gentry Service Group, a well-established family-owned company since 1963, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Manager to lead our commercial service operations in the Asheville area. This is a high-impact leadership position where you'll have the autonomy to build a high-performing team, improve profitability, and shape the future of the department.
What You'll Earn
Base salary of $70,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience

What You'll Do
Take full responsibility for the commercial service department's daily operations and performance
Lead, coach, hire, and develop a team of skilled commercial HVAC technicians
Focus on revenue growth, gross profit targets, and operational efficiency
Manage service agreements, warranty claims, inventory, and fleet operations
Review jobs, quotes, and technician productivity while providing constructive feedback
Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve any service-related issues
Collaborate with residential and installation teams for smooth company-wide operations
What You Need
5+ years of HVAC service management experience
Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue and profitability goals
Strong leadership skills with experience training, mentoring, and holding a team accountable
Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail
Experience managing inventory, service contracts, and fleet operations
Proficient with Microsoft Office and service management software
Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
Self-motivated leader with strong communication and customer service skills
