Commercial Growth Representative
SUMMARY
The Commercial Growth Representative is responsible for handling assigned Pace Analytical Services accounts, achieving financial targets for those accounts, and managing inbound leads.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintains revenue from assigned accounts to ensure clients in the maintenance classification are well supported, reducing attrition.
- Generates new revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders; understanding and interpreting technical requirements; providing technical information; and developing maintenance and strategic accounts.
- Assesses and qualifies inbound leads generated from the website and marketing programs to win new business.
- Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information, and preparing quotations.
- Creates new accounts and contacts from inbound programs and outbound research.
- Follows standard operating procedures to document customer interactions.
- Updates job knowledge by reviewing product information and participating in educational opportunities.
- Supports departmental and organizational goals by taking ownership of new and diverse tasks.
- Identifies opportunities to add value to job responsibilities.
- Contributes to team effectiveness by offering suggestions and actively participating in team activities.
- Promotes Pace’s mission by demonstrating professional, courteous, and cooperative behavior with customers and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field AND two (2) years of professional experience in environmental services or laboratory operations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Pace Analytical Life Sciences provides analytical testing services to the pharmaceutical/medical device industries. Services include chemical and microbiology, method development/validation, physical testing, raw material testing, stability testing and storage, and product release testing. Pace operates two FDA-registered, DEA-registered (Class I - V), cGMP-compliant facilities: one located in Oakdale, MN and the other located in San German, PR. The Oakdale, MN facility is ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited.
