About the Opportunity
A well-established and growing commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join its team. This organization has an impressive portfolio of ground-up and renovation projects throughout the DFW area and continues to experience steady growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys leading projects from award through closeout while partnering closely with Superintendents, Project Coordinators, clients, architects, and subcontractors to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Oversee contracts, subcontractor scopes, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Partner closely with field Superintendents to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate with Project Coordinators and internal support teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project costs, identify potential risks, and proactively resolve issues.
- Maintain strong communication with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Participate in scope reviews and project planning activities.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction Project Management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from cradle to grave.
- Experience with ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, cost control, contracts, and scheduling.
- Proficiency with:
- Procore
- Bluebeam
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Project
- Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
- PMP certification is a plus but not required.
