Commercial Escrow Officer
Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Miami, FL, for a Commercial Escrow Officer. The primary responsibilities include managing commercial real estate transactions, facilitating escrow processes, coordinating closings, and collaborating with underwriters. This role requires a strong command of settlement preparation, title review, and closing execution to ensure smooth and compliant transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee commercial real estate escrow transactions from opening through closing

  • Prepare and review settlement statements and closing packages

  • Coordinate all aspects of closings, including scheduling, document execution, and disbursement of funds

  • Conduct detailed title review and work closely with underwriters to resolve title issues

  • Ensure compliance with title insurance regulations, company policies, and state requirements

  • Maintain accurate and organized transaction files and documentation

  • Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, attorneys, brokers, and other stakeholders

  • Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the transaction lifecycle

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience handling commercial real estate closings and settlements

  • Strong expertise in settlement preparation and closing execution

  • Minimum 3+ years of title review experience

  • In-depth knowledge of escrow processes and commercial transactions

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SoftPro or similar title/escrow software

  • Experience handling vacant land transactions

  • Experience working with land developers and development-related transactions
