    Commercial Electrician - Facilities & Fabrication Support

    Summary

    Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) is seeking a highly accomplished Commercial Electrician to support facility infrastructure and fabrication operations in our Gilbert, AZ location. This role is a strong fit for an early-career electrician who already carries real hands-on skill, conduit work and drawing interpretation, and wants to develop inside a shop where the work is fast paced, varied, and growth is earned through reliability and initiative.

    The ideal candidate is a motivated and dependable early-career commercial electrician with 1-2 years of hands-on experience supporting commercial electrical installations, facility maintenance, and fabrication

    projects. The individual is eager to learn, takes pride in producing quality work, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The candidate will have a basic understanding of commercial electrical

    systems, electrical codes, and safe work practices, with the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams. This person should be comfortable installing conduit, pulling wire, terminating electrical devices, and

    assisting with the maintenance and repair of facility electrical systems. This individual is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to support a variety of facility and fabrication activities. They demonstrate a

    strong work ethic, communicate effectively with team members and are committed to continuous learning and professional growth.

    The Commercial Electrician will be responsible for supporting Facilities and Fabrication Operations, working alongside production, maintenance, and engineering to keep infrastructure and equipment mission ready.

    Electrical readiness directly affects production uptime, so this role has visibility with operations leadership whenever infrastructure issues intersect with program schedules.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Commercial Electrical Installation: Perform rough-in and finish electrical work across facility and production-support systems in accordance with code and job specifications.
    • Conduit Fabrication: Bend, cut, and install conduit accurately and efficiently, including offsets and multi-bend runs, to meet layout and inspection requirements.
    • Drawing & Diagram Interpretation: Read and apply construction drawings and wiring diagrams to execute work correctly the first time, minimizing rework and downtime.
    • Materials Handling: Lift and transport electrical materials and equipment up to 50 lbs. safely across the facility.
    • Cross-Trade Collaboration: Coordinate with facilities, maintenance, and production teams to sequence electrical work around active operations without disrupting schedules.
    • Flexible Task Support: Assist with non-electrical, job-related tasks as needed to support broader facility and production priorities.
    • Environmental Adaptability: Perform work safely and effectively across hot and cold weather conditions, indoors and out.
    • Schedule Reliability: Maintain punctual, dependable attendance and flex into overtime, including potential weekends, when program needs require it.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    • 1-2 years of hands-on commercial electrical experience
    • Demonstrated conduit-bending skill (offsets, saddles, and multi-bend runs)
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying environmental conditions
    • Company provides all major tools and equipment

    Physical Demands & Work Environment

    • Primarily office-based work environment.
    • Regularly required to sit, stand, operate a computer, climb stairs, and communicate effectively.
    • Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds.
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
    • Ability to travel, including potential OCONUS travel, as program needs require.
