Commercial Control Panel Builder (Confidential)

Location: Smyrna, GA (On-Site)
Compensation: $19.00–$20.00 per hour + Comprehensive Benefits

Confidential Opportunity

A well-established and growing company in the commercial building automation and controls industry is seeking a Commercial Control Panel Builder to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on electrical assembly and wiring in a clean, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

If you have experience reading electrical schematics, assembling electrical components, and building or wiring control panels, we'd love to speak with you.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, wire, and test commercial electrical control panels from engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Install and mount components including relays, circuit breakers, switches, PLCs, and BAS controllers.
  • Perform point-to-point wiring, routing, labeling, and termination of electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot wiring and electrical assemblies to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintain high quality standards while following electrical and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve build issues and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly, control panel building, industrial electrical work, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical wiring methods and components.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Experience

  • PLC or BAS wiring
  • UL 508A control panels
  • Industrial automation or electrical controls
  • Electrical assembly in manufacturing or aerospace environments
